“Texture Tile Tribute” - The Junior High students have been exploring the art of ceramics and how immersing themselves in this medium can create calm, rejuvenate the body and spirit, and relax the mind. As they explored different clay building techniques, students examined the different textures they could create with this versatile material. Each student created a small tile with a different texture, pattern, or shape. These were fired once to a bisque state, then arranged on wood to create an intricate and unique piece of art.
