Stroll through town and you'll be rewarded with fabulous views of the countryside along the medieval town walls.

Private Villa in Tuscany

Enjoy a 7-night stay for up to four people in a 2-bedroom, 3-bath villa in the Cortona countryside. Surrounded by olive groves and overlooking the peaceful valley of Val' di Chiana, you’ll experience the best of both worlds with an ideal location for a private getaway within a short distance to the town of Cortona. The outdoor terrace offers beautiful views and a perfect spot for barbecues and dining al fresco. The garden and private swimming pool allow guests to relax under the Tuscan sun.

This charming Tuscan villa has maintained many of its authentic original features without compromising modern comfort. Amenities include air conditioning, heating, WIFI access, satellite TV, daily maid service, and a washing machine.

This package is for a Saturday-Saturday stay for up to four people; upgrades to a larger villa may be available for a fee if you wish to bring additional guests.

Truffle Hunting

Participate in a unique and desirable experience to learn about the seduction of truffles at this beautiful medieval hamlet set in the Tuscan Woods. Join expert hunters with their trained dogs who will show you how to find and dig up truffles. After, you will visit a small truffle museum at a local farm and learn how to use and preserve the precious produce. Savor a marvelous 4-course lunch with local truffle-based dishes and delicious wines all prepared and served by the farmhouse owner. Between the truffle hunt, museum visit, and lunch, plan to spend a half-day enjoying this once-in-a-lifetime adventure for your party of up to four.

The peak truffle hunting season is March to November, but since this is a natural reserve, there is ample harvest year-round. If you prefer, an alternate experience or tour can be substituted, such as walking or biking tours, cheese making with tastings, or cooking classes.

NOTE: Cortona is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Florence and a 2.5-hour drive from Rome. Nearby cities: Perugia 45 km; Siena 70 km; Florence 100 km; Rome 205 km; Pisa 200 km.
